A weather-driven outage at a shore installation can take the unclassified network with it. SONARmobile is built so the CO moves to the secure side without leaving the app, and without re-authenticating.

Storm hits. Feeders drop. SONAR alerts fire.

The map lights the affected feeders, the CO gets the alert, and the outage list starts filling. Then the unclassified link goes with the power.

SIPR

One tap. ADMIN accepts. Command continues in red.

The classification menu beside the app name requests SIPR. ADMIN sees the request, accepts, and the phone switches to the secure side. Same app, same session, red theme so nobody mistakes which network they're on.

SIPR is never granted by the phone alone. ADMIN gets an accept-or-decline prompt, the request expires if nobody answers, and the grant is dropped the moment the commander logs out or closes the app.

What's on the phone

Every tile is one tap from the home screen. It looks like a phone app because it's used like one: standing up, in a hurry, with one thumb.

Lock and log out

Lock keeps the session and hides the screen. Log out clears the key, the session, and any SIPR grant.

How it fits together

SONARmobile is the commander's end of a three-part system. Alerts originate in the hub, access is issued and approved in ADMIN, and the phone is where decisions get made.
